JVC BN-VF808 BN-VF815 BN-VF823 Replacement Battery User Instructions

• Instructions on Battery Use
1. Self-detecting: Load JVC BN-VF808 BN-VF815 BN-VF823 Replacement Battery Pack onto your camcorder, plug the attached power cord into the "DC IN" socket on the camcorder, and press down the battery "ON/OFF" button. The LCD and the LED indicator of the battery pack will light up for one second then the battery's self-detecting function will be completed.
    
2. Using the battery: After Self-Detecting, the battery LCD indicates “Discharging” and displays a battery icon. Turn on your camcorder and it is ready to use.
    
3. Low-power Warning: When the battery icon in the LCD shows only one block left, together with LED red light blinking (Pic7), it indicates that the battery power could only last for about 5 minutes. Please save your recorded data and turn off your camcorder and replace battery.
   
4. Please don't press the battery "ON/OFF" button to turn off the battery: After your camcorder is turned off, the battery will detect it in 8 seconds and automatically shut down its power.
    
• Instructions on Battery Charging
  1. Charge by original JVC adapter: You can recharge the JVC BN-VF808 BN-VF815 BN-VF823 Replacement Battery Pack with JVC AP-V14 power adapter. Please first connect your power adapter with the AC power outlet. Put the adapter DC plug into the battery pack’s "DC IN" Socket and press the battery "ON/OFF" button for one second. The “Charge” mark and the battery icon will appear and be blinking on the LCD. It indicates that the battery pack is recharging (Pic9).
     
  2. Charge by original JVC charger or third party external charger: You can also recharge the JVC BN-VF808 BN-VF815 BN-VF823 Replacement Battery Pack with JVC AA-VF8 charger or EPMUSA digital battery charger kit. Please first plug your charger into the power outlet, and then load your battery pack onto the charger. The “Charge” mark and the battery icon will appear and be blinking on the LCD. It indicates that the battery pack is recharging (Pic10).
     
  3. After the battery icon indicates full blocks and LED stops blinking, the battery pack has been fully recharged.



• Battery Charging Tips
  1. We suggest you recharge this battery pack with original or EPM charger. Otherwise it might fail of being recharged or cause damage.
  2. When short circuit happens on the battery pack by accident, the battery will turn into Short-Circuit-Protection status and cut-off the power automatically. To restart the battery pack, please re-press the "ON/OFF" button on the battery.
  3. The battery power effect will be better if keeping the battery pack in the charger for a while after it is fully charged.
  4. Please have the JVC BN-VF808 BN-VF815 BN-VF823 Replacement Battery Pack recharged before storing up. In order to make the battery resume to the best performance after a long time of storage, you are suggested to recharge the battery pack for about 30 minutes before use.
