JVC BN-VF808 BN-VF815 BN-VF823 Replacement Battery User Instructions
- Instructions on Battery Use
- Self-Detecting: Please take out the
JVC BN-VF808 BN-VF815 BN-VF823 Rechargeable Battery Pack and connect
it with the equipped cord into the DC IN/OUT socket (Pic1). The LCD and the Low-Power LED indicator of the battery pack will light up for one second
then the battery's self-detecting function will completed (Pic2).
- Using the battery: After Self-Detecting, the LCD of the battery pack will indicate “Discharging” (Pic3). Load the battery pack onto your camcorder (Pic4) and connect the other end of the equipped cord
to the “DC IN” socket of your camcorder (Pic5). Turn on your camcorder and
it is ready to use (Pic6).
- Low-power Warning:
When the battery icon in the LCD shows only one block together with LED red
light blinking (Pic7), it indicates that the power of your battery pack could only last for about 5 minutes. Please save your recorded data and turn off your camcorder to replace battery.
- Note: Please take off the battery pack and the equipped cord from your camcorder after finish using your camcorder (Pic8).
- Instructions on Battery Charging
- Charge by original JVC adapter: You can recharge the
JVC BN-VF808 BN-VF815 BN-VF823 Rechargeable Battery Pack with JVC AP-V14 power adapter. Please first connect your power adapter with the AC power-outlet. Put the DC plug of the power adapter into the battery pack’s DC IN/OUT
Socket. The “Charge” letters and the battery icon will appear and be blinking on the LCD. It indicates that the battery pack is recharging
(Pic9).
- Charge by original JVC charger or third party external charger:
You can also recharge the JVC BN-VF808 BN-VF815 BN-VF823 Rechargeable Battery Pack with
JVC AA-VF8 charger or EPM digital battery charger set. Please first put your charger onto the power outlet, and then load your battery pack onto the charger.
The “Charge” letters and the battery icon will appear and be blinking on the LCD. It indicates that the battery pack is recharging (Pic10).
- After the battery icon indicates full blocks and LED stops blinking, the battery pack has been fully recharged.
- Battery Charging Tips
- We suggest you recharge this battery pack with original or EPM charger. Otherwise it might fail of being recharged or cause damage.
- When short circuit happens on the battery pack outlet by accident, the battery pack will turn into Short-Circuit-Protection status and cut-off the power automatically. To restart the battery pack, please re-plug the equipped cord.
- The power effect of the battery pack will be better if keeping the battery pack in the charger for a while after it is fully charged.
- Please have the JVC BN-VF815 Rechargeable Battery Pack recharged before storing up. In order to make the battery resume to the best performance after a long time of storage, you are suggested to recharge the battery pack for about 30 minutes before use.
